Garry Walberg

Garry Walberg (born June 10, 1921 in Buffalo, New York) is an American character actor primarily known for his work on television. Walberg has performed in numerous TV shows since the early 1950s, including Johnny Staccato, Lassie, Peyton Place, The Fugitive, The Odd Couple and several other popular American programs.

Walberg's most prominent role was as Los Angeles Police Department Homicide Lt. Frank Monahan in the television series Quincy, M.E. (1976–83), starring Jack Klugman. He played the character of a plainclothes police detective who was constantly worn down by Quincy's attempts at aiding him. Walberg had previously appeared alongside Klugman in The Odd Couple (1970–75), in the recurring role of Oscar's Poker crony "Speed". He reprised the role in the 1993 TV movie The Odd Couple: Together Again.

He was also in the first episode of the Twilight Zone, entitled "Where Is Everybody?".
